Mission Statement
The Connections Ministry equips people to serve where God is calling them to serve in His Kingdom, for His glory, and for building up the body of Christ and carrying out the ministry of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12: 4-5, 7 – “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”

Purpose
Connections helps individuals mature spiritually through the use of their God-given design (passion and spiritual gifts) to serve in the body of Christ and the community, so that the whole church can become spiritually mature, reflecting the love of Christ, carrying out the ministry of Jesus, and experiencing spiritual growth for the glory of God.

How to Connect
Serving people offers wonderful opportunities for discovering your God-given purpose, connect with others in the Body of Christ, and experience God using you to bless other people. There are many opportunities to serve at Creekside. Here are some steps to follow to get connected and start serving.

1. Check out the Ministry Directory to view the current ministries at Creekside
2. If you know where you would like to serve: Please complete the Ministry Form at the Welcome Desk and let us know what ministry you are interested in. A Ministry Team Leader will contact you.
3. Want to Test Drive a Ministry? If you are interested in serving but you are not sure where to get started, then fill out a Ministry Test Drive Form at the Welcome Desk. This is the perfect opportunity to serve and to match your gifts with God’s calling. The opportunities are easy, fun and a great way to get involved helping members and visitors feel welcomed at Creekside.
4. Are you interested in a ministry not listed? Please complete the Ministry Form at the Welcome Desk with your suggestion and a staff member, ministry leader, will contact you. We are always interested in new ways to serve our church family and community.
